[Way to mech] Chapter 3: Basic Unit - First step to mecha (part 1)

All of things in the world can be divided into many many units. They're the simple graphics such as: boxes, cylinders, planes, spheres, ...
In first part of chapter 3, we will talk about the most important unit that people always use to create a mecha image, that's box. You can see that boxes exist around us everyday. Box is the most popular and important unit in drawing. With boxes, we can union thêm, subtract thêm to create many complex graphic.
So what will we do with boxes? First,let's check 3 step to draw a box:

Now we get a box, but it isn't all we need. Next, we need to know how this box look like in real life.
Turn off the light and we have only one light source, let check:

This is the most basic step when you want to illustrate your artworks. In your art work, you can face a problem, that 's reflection.
Now we subtract a corner of this box and let's watch how it look like:

First plane we draw isn't the brightest, the plane created by subtracting a corner is the brightest plane. When the light arrive the corner, it will scatter and we will she the corner is the brightest.
