[Way to Mecha] Chapter 2: Mecha form

In the previous chapter, we talked about what thing inspired us to design a mecha, it could be movies, anime, cartoon, toys ... Now this time we will check which mecha form that we want to draw.
Human-like form
The most popular form is human-like form. That means your robot will have a head, many arms, I say many arms because your robot could have 2, 3, 4, or 5 arms depend on you, two legs, because if there are more than 2 legs, it belongs to the other form.
This is my artworks, it's an example for human-like form.

Flog-like form
This is the popular form you usually see in Hollywood movies. This form has 2 leg and a big body that you couldn't indicate its head.

Mecha animal
This form like an animal, it could a tiger or a lion. You know Zoids? This is one of the most famous mangas about mecha animal.
Combination form
This form is a combination of 2 other forms such as human-like form and mecha animal.
So this is all that I want to share about this subject in this chapter.

[Way to mech] Chapter 3: Basic Unit - First step to mecha (part 1)

All of things in the world can be divided into many many units. They're the simple graphics such as: boxes, cylinders, planes, spheres, ... In first part of chapter 3, we will talk about the most important unit that people always use to create a mecha image, that's box. You can see that boxes exist around us everyday. Box is the most popular and important unit in drawing. With boxes, we can union thêm, subtract thêm to create many complex graphic. So what will we do with boxes?
